The Hawaii Music Awards is a yearly event that showcases some of the best local Hawaii musicians, both on the islands and around the world.
Winners are decided by an online voting system open to the public. Therefore, the web site is a critical part to the success of the Hawaii Music Awards.
With less than two months to complete the project, Searider Productions accepted the job of updating the Hawaii Music Awards web site for the Seventh Annual Awards, held in April of 2004. Working under a tight deadline, students and staff were able to update the database, ColdFusion code, and HTML. After testing the changes, the new site was launched in January of 2004. Online voting took place in February.
