Improving Hawaii's public schools has ranked as the number one concern among voters in recent polls. Candidates and elected officials have often spoken of the problems and concerns regarding our public schools. This may have led to many misconceptions in the public mind.
The Hawaii State Teachers Association, the union for Hawaii's public school teachers, sought to counter this negative public perception of the public schools. HSTA asked Searider Productions to do a series of public service announcements focusing on the good things happening in local public schools.
